Canine Helpers is a primarily volunteer-based organisation, and we rely on help from volunteers in a variety of roles to be able to do what we do.

Volunteers should ideally meet the following criteria:

• Must love dogs!  Even administration volunteers will be amongst dogs in the office;
• Have some skills and experience.  We are not currently able to provide a lot of training;
• Be able to get to Brisbane under your own steam.

Types of Volunteers needed:

• Qualified Auditor!
• Helpers at our promotion stalls and expos (mostly weekends), to sell merchandise, collect donations and speak to members of the public about Canine Helpers (training provided!);
• Newsletter writer (we currently use Publisher);
  
• Board members; elections are held at the Annual General Meeting;
• A gardener, to keep our little yard neat and tidy!
